Supporters of MRF-New Beginning of Delyan Peevski are protesting outside the Parliament building Friday. They said they have come to show that their votes are real, are not "phantoms" and that they are not afraid of a new vote tallying or new elections.

"Phantoms" came from a remark by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria co-leader Kiril Petkov that there are many "phantoms" in the party around Delyan Peevski and MRF - New Beginning was "elected illegally".

The protestors are carrying posters "Germen is here!" and "Kiril, come here! We are not phantoms!".

Belitsa Mayor Radoslav Revanski said before the protest started that instead of staging sham elections for parliament leader, Kiril Petkov should have said that he wants new elections.  

The parliament building is guarded by gendarmerie and police.  

MRF-New Beginning also protested outside Parliament on November 11 as the new legislature held its inaugural sitting.
