Bulgaria needs security, stability and justice more than ever, said National Assembly Chair Raya Nazaryan after voting in Sunday's parliamentary elections. 

"These results can be achieved with a regular and successful government that can meet citizens' expectations for prosperity and development, as well as the challenges we face in the country and the world every day," said Nazaryan. "I voted for the responsible political formation that has proven that it can form regular and successful governments with a full mandate," Nazaryan pointed out.

She said that it is really most important for Bulgarians to be active and vote. Their vote will determine the future of the country, she added. Nazaryan expressed hope for a higher voter turnout, because this would also increase the legitimacy of the National Assembly and will be an indicator of restoring trust in the political processes in general.

When asked who is a suitable coalition partner, Nazaryan replied the results need to come out first, but GERB have repeatedly stated who is a suitable coalition partner. Major analyses and establishing a formula are ahead, because this time it is really important to form a regular government, the National Assembly Chair added.
