The management board of poultry producer Gradus expects losses and lost profits from unrealized sales of breeding eggs for the next 12-18 months in the amount of no less than BGN 25 million. The reason for this is a registered outbreak of bird flu in a livestock farm operated by a subsidiary company in the village of Bolyarsko, Yambol region, said the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on its website.

The Gradus management stressed that this force majeure circumstance does not change the announced investment programme of the group, but delays its implementation period.

Previously, the Gradus management board proposed an investment programme in the summer in all segments in which the company operates.
