"By my order today [Thursday], a Spartan aircraft with a team will leave for Czechia with the "black box" of the crashed L-39 ZA training and combat aircraft," caretaker Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov said here.

"We expect it to be deciphered in a few days," Zapryanov told journalists at the Kabile military district near Yambol. The trainer-fighter plane crashed on September 13 while preparing for an air show at the Graf Ignatyevo Air Base.

The two pilots from the 12th Air Base in Dolna Mitropolia - Petko Dimitrov and Ventsislav Dunkin - died in the  crash. They were promoted posthumously to military rank.

Earlier in the day, Minister Zapryanov took part in a ceremony in the military area to officially welcome soldiers from the company that was part of NATO Regional Command-West's multinational battalion for maintaining security in Kosovo (KFOR).
