Yoana Georgieva of Bulgaria failed to qualify for final C in the women’s kayak single 500m event at the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
The 2023 U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships silver medallist finished seventh in the semifinal stage of the competition, stopping the clock at 1:54.02 minutes.
Georgieva was 0.67 seconds slower than Argentinean Brenda Rojas, who finished sixth and found a spot in the next round.
