Europe's largest dancing bear sanctuary near Belitsa, Southwestern Bulgaria, opens its doors to visitors for the 2024 season on July 1. Visitors will get a closer look at the lives of the park's inhabitants as before but with a modified route and access conditions.

Visitors can reach the amusement park by car, which is located near the bear sanctuary, but from there they can only continue on foot to the Belitsa Bear Park via a bypass forest trail. The time to reach the bear sanctuary from the amusement park is about 30-40 minutes, but the Bear Park notes that the trail is not suitable for infants and wheelchairs. They urge visitors to wear comfortable shoes and clothing and to consider their readiness and ability for such a mountain hike.

Visiting hours are 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with the last tour of the day at 5:30 pm. The park is opening later this year due to renovations.
