Bulgaria will be represented at the inaugural Fashioning Power, Fashioning Peace Exhibition and Gala on May 6 at the Woodrow Wilson House - the residence of the 28th president of the US, Woodrow Wilson. This was announced by the Bulgarian Embassy in the US on its Facebook page.

Ambassador Georgi Panayotov currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Woodrow Wilson House, a National Trust for Historic Preservation site in Washington, DC.

Bulgaria will participate with a Golden Goddess gown, an original Nevena Couture piece.

"It is meticulously handcrafted from the finest materials: carefully positioned layers of finest French Couture lace with metallic threads, wavelike organza, Couture tulle with threads and double-sided silk taffeta and soft invisible tulle. It is a true jewel of creativity, defined by its everlasting value," the Bulgarian Embassy noted in its release.

The exhibition will showcase authentic clothing from more than 30 different countries, each symbolizing power, diplomacy, and tangible cultural heritage. This event coincides with the Met Gala in New York City.
