Bulgaria and its traditions will be presented at a festival called the Eastern European Heritage Experience, which will be held at the Czech Club in Dayton, in the US State of Ohio on April 27. Didi Partridge, President of the Bulgarian Association of Cincinnati (BAC), reported the news for BG World, a service of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA).

The Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature, has designated April as Eastern European Month, which is observed annually in the "buckeye state", the BAC said. "Our Bulgarian community will be presented at an information booth and with the horo chain dance included in the cultural programme," the association said. They invited members of the local Bulgarian community to contribute to the presentation at the Bulgarian booth and to visit other Eastern European sections of the festival.

The BAC conducts fundraising, religious, educational and cultural events to promote the understanding of Bulgarian heritage and culture. The association runs a Bulgarian school, which holds concerts, theatre performances and festivals. The BAC also supports a folk dance group and publishes an online newspaper, Smesena Kitka, launched in April 2023.
