site.btaBoryana Kaleyn Wins All-Around Gold Medal at International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament Sofia Cup 2024

Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast Boryana Kaleyn won the all-around gold medal at the international tournament Sofia Cup 2024 on Saturday. The silver medal went to another Bulgarian - Elvira Krasnobaeva. She was leading the rankings after the first day of the competition but made mistakes in her performances with clubs and ribbon and gave up the first position.

According to the regulations, the all-around competition includes two representatives per country. The bronze medal was won by Kazakhstani rhythmic gymnast Erika Zhailauova.

Bulgarian gymnasts can win eight more medals on Sunday. Kaleyn qualified for the finals on ball, clubs and ribbon, while Krasnobaeva found a spot among the top eight on hoop, ball and clubs. Eva Brezalieva secured her place in the hoop final and Nikol Todorova will take part in the ribbon final.
