Bulgarian football coach Ivaylo Petev was voted as the best coach of the month in March in the Romanian Liga I for his results with CS Universitatea (Craiova). The poll was conducted on the internet with the winner being decided by an aggregate vote of coaches and fans.

Petev received his trophy on Friday at the club office.

He took Universitatea from 4th to 2nd place in Liga I and achieved a run of nine consecutive games without defeat.
