site.btaSports Ministry Provides BGN 15.6 Mln for Repairs in State Sports Schools

By order of Sports Minister Dimitar Iliev, BGN 15.6 million have been provided for major repairs in state sports schools. “They needed financial support to ensure a normal learning and training process for children, in some of the schools the conditions are extremely poor and measures should have been taken long ago,” Iliev noted.

The funding is provided by deductions from the Bulgarian Sports Totalizator state enterprise. They will be made available to schools in phases following procedures under the Public Procurement Act for the selection of contractor(s) for the relevant activities.
