Bulgarian wrestler Kiril Milov suffered an injury during the national team camp in Croatia and will miss the Olympic qualification in Baku (Azerbaijan), which will be held from April 5 to April 7. The European classical style champion and world runner-up has a torn thigh muscle and will undergo surgery. It is not yet clear if he will be able to recover for the last qualification in Istanbul on May 9-12.
Edmond Nazaryan is also injured and will most likely miss the competition in Baku. Bulgaria has declared a provisional line-up, adjustments can be made until April1.
Only the finalists will secure Olympic quota places in Baku. So far, Bulgaria has only one wrestling quota, won by Semyon Novikov in the 87kg classical style category.
A total of 301 wrestlers will compete in Baku, most of them in classic style - 114.

Freestyle: 57 kg Georgi Vangelov, 65 kg Mikyay Naim, 74 kg Miroslav Kirov, 86 kg Magomed Ramazanov, 125 kg Alen Khubulov.
Classic style: 67 kg Abu Muslim Amaev, 77 kg Stoyan Kubatov
Women: 50 kg Miglena Selishka, 53 kg Irena Binkova, 57 kg Evelina Nikolova, 62 kg Bilyana Dudova, 68 kg Mimi Hristova, 76 kg Vanesa Georgieva.
