site.btaSofia Airport's Entire Territory within Concession Agreement Becomes Site of National Importance

The Council of Ministers Wednesday decided that Sofia Airport's entire territory included in the concession agreement as well as any future expansions should be declared sites of national importance. Tangible items handed over to the concessionaire that should be sold or scrapped are to be declared private state property; the revenues from them will go into the state budget.

The concession agreement also covers land property necessary for the implementation of the concessionaire's investment programme.
