site.btaTennis: Grigor Dimitrov Qualifies for Indian Wells Third Round, Tomova Eliminated

Bulgaria's highest ranked male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov scored a 7-5 6-2 win over French player Alexander Muller in the second round of the Indian Wells Masters tournament in the US on Saturday evening. 

In the next round, the Bulgarian will face another French opponent - Adrian Mannarino, who eliminated Tomas Machac in two sets. This will be the fifth match between the two in their careers as so far the balance is in favour of Dimitrov - 4-0.

Bulgaria's highest ranked female player was eliminated from the competition after 3-set battle with former No. 4 Caroline Garcia. The 20th seed in the tournament won 6-1 3-6 6-3.

Earlier in the week, Tomova won 6-4 7-6(5) against former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin.
