site.btaBulgaria Joins European Project to Support Young Talent in Music
The Trace Talent music challenge, dedicated to urban Afro and hip-hop cultures, crosses the borders of France and goes European. The project is launched in partnership between France, Belgium and Bulgaria, and will give young talented people from these three countries the chance to train professionally in the music and concert business, guided by highly disciplined international teams, Sofia Live Festival said on Saturday.
Trace Talent is part of a global, long-term project that is committed to structuring action to support information, training and employment in music, digital and audiovisual arts, targeting young people.
After four seasons in Marseille and Mayotte, France, dedicated to music creation, music management professions and audiovisual art, this year Trace Talent places young people at the heart of the concert industry between Marseille (France), Brussels (Belgium) and Sofia (Bulgaria).
The teams will be housed and trained in specially selected locations in the three cities in June 2024, where they will develop their talent by participating in various workshops, masterclasses and sharing experiences with leading experts, inspiring personalities and professionals.
Divided into several teams in different areas, the candidates will represent each of the main professions in the concert industry - artist/performer, tour manager, technical director/stage manager, stage designer/stage choreographer, communications manager/marketing manager and content manager/editorial manager. Their objectives will be to organize the best gig for the artist they represent and understand all aspects of the process - artistic development, stage performance, technical management, administrative management, logistics, marketing and communications strategy.
Artists who become part of the challenge will have the opportunity to perform at various music events, including performing on stage at Sofia Live Festival.
