site.btaCommemorative Coin Dedicated to 125th Anniversary of Composer Pancho Vladigerov's Birth Goes into Circulation

The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) is putting into circulation from 11 March a copper commemorative coin on the 125th anniversary of the birth of renowned Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov, the Central Bank said on Friday. The coin is from BNB’s series dedicated to Bulgarian artists.

The price of the coin upon release will be BGN 54. Its face value will be BGN 2. The coin has a mintage of 7,000 pieces.

On the face of the coin will be depicted the BNB emblem with the year "1879" on the band, the face value written on a five-note line, the inscription "Bulgarian National Bank" and the year of issue "2024". The composer will be depicted on the reverse side of the coin with an inscription "125 years since the birth of Pancho Vladigerov".
