site.btaPresident to Announce Schedule for Consultations with Parties on Thursday

President Rumen Radev told the press here Wednesday that he would announce on Thursday the schedule for consultations with the parliamentary groups before he offers a mandate for the formation of a government. He was speaking to reporters several hours after Parliament voted, as planned, the resignation of the government of Nikolay Denkov.

Denkov's resignation paved the way to a government rotation between his Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria group and GERB-UDF.

Radev also commented: "Passions seem to be rising and it is unclear whether the leaders of the outgoing coalition parties are bluffing, playing political poker, upping the ante for an imminent extension of joint rule, or mobilizing their voters for new elections."
