site.btaCabinet Amends Decree Establishing National Crime Prevention Council

The cabinet on Wednesday amended the decree which established the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) in 2012.

The decree provides for drawing up annual action plans for the implementation of the National Crime Prevention Strategy. Wednesday's amendment specifies that the NCPC is in charge of writing the annual action plans, and then the minister of interior, who heads the NCPC, should submit the plan to the Council of Ministers for adoption.

The change will not affect the state budget in any way.
