site.btaAgriculture Minister Meets with Hungary’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Miklos Boros

Agriculture Minister Kiril Vatev met with Hungary’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Miklos Boros here on Friday, his Ministry’s press centre said. They discussed the licensing regime for imports of agricultural products from Ukraine to Bulgaria.

Vatev said that there is coordination between the prime ministers and agriculture ministers of Ukraine and Bulgaria regarding the licensing regime. "Ukraine has an obligation to inform us who sends the goods from their country and who receives them in Bulgaria. It is only after this condition is met that exports and imports can take place," he explained.

Boros stated that the processes related to the licensing regime between Bulgaria and Ukraine are followed with interest by Hungary to draw experience from the good practices achieved.

Opportunities  of marketing wine on foreign markets were examined during the meeting.
