site.btaSofia Airport Warns Passengers of Lufthansa Flight Cancellations on February 21

Flights by Lufthansa German Airlines to and from Frankfurt and Munich scheduled for February 21 have been cancelled, Sofia Airport said on its official Facebook page on Monday.

List of the affected flights:

Departing:

LH1707, departing for Munich at 6:10 am; LH1429, departing for Frankfurt at 6:35 am; LH1703, departing for Munich at 1:45 pm; LH1427, departing for Frankfurt at 2:15 pm; LH1705, departing for Munich at 18:55.

Arriving:

LH1702, arriving from Munich at 1:00 pm; LH1426, arriving from Frankfurt at 1:20 pm; LH1704, arriving from Munich at 6:10 pm; LH1428, arriving from Frankfurt at 10:35 pm; LH1706 arriving from Munich at 10:45 pm.

Sofia airport advised passengers to contact the airline as soon as possible to get details of the next flight they can take, and to keep an eye on the airport's website for up-to-date flight information.

"Lufthansa has warned of many flight cancellations on Tuesday and Wednesday when a full ground staff strike will affect the airline. Unions are demanding wage increases for about 25,000 employees of the company and its affiliates in Germany during the current collective contract negotiations,” Sofia Airport explained.
