The conditions in the mountains are relatively good on Saturday, the Mountain Rescue Service MRS said, but warned that the weather is dynamic and can change quickly. Light wind, good snow cover and the facilities in the resorts are running.

Mountain rescuers helped a skier in Bansko, who got out of the ski area and suffered a shoulder injury, the MRS also  told BTA. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon. The skier, who is an English citizen, was handed over to a medical team.

There is a danger of avalanches remains, mainly on the eastern slopes, warned the MRS. The service hikers to be  prepared with appropriate equipment.
