Five Bulgarian athletes will participate in the Grand Slam Judo tournament in Paris, one of the most prestigious in the world. The bouts will take place from Friday to Sunday. A total of 661 competitors from 110 countries will take part in the event..

Bulgaria will be represented by Yanislav Gerchev (66 kg), Georgi Gramatikov (81 kg), Ivaylo Ivanov (90 kg), Boris Georgiev (100 kg) and Ivelina Ilieva (57 kg).

Ilieva and Gerchev will take to the tatami on Friday, Gramatikov on Saturday, Ivanov and Georgiev on Sunday.
