The Tourism Ministry will take part in the International Tourism Exhibition CMT Stuttgart 2024, starting Saturday, January 13, and running until January 21, 2024, the Ministry said in a press release on Saturday.

The holiday expo in Stuttgart is the largest travel trade show for the mass public in the world, the Ministry writes. Bulgaria's stand there is 40 square metres.

The leading topics are camping and caravanning, motorcycle and bicycle tourism, golf, spa, cruise travel, among others. The main interest for the large audience remains the tour packages to nearby and medium-sized destinations from Germany. Alongside the main caravan, motorbike and tourism trade fair, four complementary themed trade fairs take place: for cycling and adventure tourism (Fahrrad- & ErlebnisReisen mit Wandern); cruises (Kreuzfahrt- & SchiffsReisen); golf and wellness (Golf- & WellnessReisen); paragliding and surfing.

In 2023, the exhibition was visited by more than 265,000 visitors over 9 days and was attended by more than 1,600 exhibitors from 100 countries.

Albena AD, Sunny Travel Ltd and Varna Municipality have confirmed their participation at the Bulgarian advertising stand of the CMT Stuttgart 2024.
