site.btaTennis Record: Six Bulgarians to Take Part in Junior Grand Slam Main Draw for First Time at Australian Open 2024

Six Bulgarian tennis talents will start directly from the main draws of the Australian Open Junior Championships – the first Grand Slam tournament for 2024, the Bulgarian Tennis Federation said on Tuesday. This historic and record-breaking Bulgarian participation will be realized after Alexander Vasilev and Ivan Ivanov qualified for the boys’ singles main draw. Anas Mazdrashki will take part in the qualifiers.

For the first time Bulgaria will have four representatives in the girls’ singles main draw of the tournament - Iva Ivanova, Elizara Yaneva, Rositsa Dencheva and Yoana Konstantinova.

The Australian Open Junior Championships will kick off on January 20.

Grigor Dimitrov and Viktoriya Tomova will play in the men’s and women’s main draws of the Grand Slam tournament.
