site.btaUPDATED Interior Ministry Delegation to Attend Round Table at European Parliament

Deputy Minister of the Interior Ivelina Dundakova, the directors of the General Directorate of Border Police, Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov, and of the General Directorate of National Police, Chief Commissioner Atanas Ilkov, will participate in a round table in the European Parliament on November 7. The forum will discuss Schengen enlargement and Bulgaria's role in border security, according to the press centre of the ministry. Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov and Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Pavlova will also participate in the conference, the Prosecution Service said.

The round table is organised by MEP Emil Radev, Vice-Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), who will moderate the discussion.

The event will be opened with video addresses by EP President Roberta Metsola and Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez.
