site.bta6,784 PCR Tests Confirm 188 New COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria Wednesday

September 2 (BTA) -  The number of confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria reached 16,454 on Wednesday after 188 new
infections were confirmed over the last 24 hours out of 6,784
PCR tests, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg.

Thirteen patients died adding up to a total of 642 fatalities. 
 

A total of 415,797 PCR tests have been performed since the first
 cases were diagnosed on March 8.

The active cases are 4,197. The hospitalized patients number
737, including 62 in intensive care.

The total number of infected persons include 901 medical staff.

Blagoevgrad tops the list of new cases with 35 patients,
followed by Bourgas and Sofia City with 26 each and Varna with
