Three-time European champions Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva will start with a match against Japan’s R. Miyaura and A. Sakuramoto at the Denmark Open with a prize fund of USD 850,000 in Odense. The October 17-22 competition is an Olympic qualifier for the 2024 Paris Games.

There will be Bulgarian presence this week at two more tournaments - in Prague and in Abu Dhabi. Kaloyana Nalbantova, Hristomira Popovska, Ivan Rusev and Iliyan Stoynov will play at the BWF Tour Super 100 series in Abu Dhabi from October 17 to 22 with a prize fund of USD 75,000.

At the tournament in the Czech capital Prague from October 19 to 22 with a prize fund of USD 5,000, Bulgaria will be represented by Stanimir Terziev, Mihaela Chepisheva, Tsvetina Popivanova and Alex Vlaar. They will play in the singles qualifiers and in the main draw of women's doubles and men's doubles. The event is also an Olympic qualifier for Paris 2024.
