The Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) and the Voice of Vietnam Radio will collaborate by exchanging radio programmes, podcasts, videocasts and footage. The decision was taken by the managements of the two media during a visit of a Vietnamese delegation to Bulgaria, BNR reported on Friday.

According to Tran Minh Hung, vice president of Radio Voice of Vietnam, the two media outlets have had great ties in the past. "We signed a cooperation agreement in 2008, but our wish is to enrich this cooperation, expand and build on it after these talks. We are thinking about cultural links, content like music and podcasts. We have a lot to share," he said.

Director General of BNR Milen Mitev said that sharing experiences between countries with such different histories and cultures as Bulgaria and Vietnam could always be useful and expand both our knowledge and way of working.
