The Varna audience witnessed a concert with works by four great Spanish composers from the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. It was part of the "Music of Spain" cycle and presented works by Pablo de Sarasate, Enrique Fernandez Arbos, and the founders of the national school Joaquin Turina and Enrique Granados. Their works were interpreted by outstanding instrumentalists from Austria, Croatia, Spain, Bulgaria, Albania and Slovakia. The concert was part of the programme of the scientific symposium of the International Music Festival "Varna Summer" dedicated to tradition and universality in the music of Spain.
On the last day of the symposium, two concerts will take place in the City Art Gallery. Luis Gonzalez Llado will give a piano recital with works by Antonio Soler, Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, Tomas Marco and Jesus Torres. In the evening, the audience will hear the Cantabria Instrumental Ensemble "Enseic" conducted by Esteban Sanz.
