Conditions for hiking in the mountains are good on Saturday, Mountain Rescue told BTA. In most places the weather is clear and calm, variable clouds in the Balkan and Pirin.

No rescue operations have been carried out over the past twenty-four hours.

Mountain rescuers advise tourists to go to the mountains in groups, not individually, because this way they can help each other. They say cases of injured tourists moving alone in the mountains are increasing.

Before a walk or hike in the mountains, check the route and weather forecast, charge the phone battery, choose appropriate clothing and footwear, follow the trails, and allow enough time to return to avoid accidents, Mountain Rescue advises.
