site.bta131 Fires Extinguished in Bulgaria over Past 24 Hours

Firefighters have extinguished 131 fires in the country over the past twenty-four hours, the Fire Safety General Directorate said on its website. The fire brigade teams responded to 205 accident signals.

There were 23 fires with material damage, five of them in residential buildings. There were 108 fires without material damage. During the day, 63 rescues and assistance operations were carried out, 11 of them in the event of accidents.

There were no deaths or injuries in the fires.
