site.btaBansko to Host Its Traditional Opera Fest August 25-26

A comic opera, a musical and a children's performance are planned in the programme of Bansko Opera Fest this year. The festival for opera and classical music will bring together lovers of classical art on August 25 and 26 in the central square "Nikola Vaptsarov", the press centre of Bansko Municipality said on Friday.

On the first day of the festival, the audience can watch the comic opera The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, and on the 26th - the musical Bodyguard with the original orchestration of the hits of Whitney Houston. Both shows are produced by the State Opera - Varna.

The festival also includes a children's performance. On August 26, the children's vocal-theatre formation "Talasumche" will present the performance The Three Fairies and the Sleeping Beauty, the release said.
