Dr. Teodora Ivanova, head of the State Agency for Child Protection (SACP) and the UNICEF representative in Bulgarian, Christina de Bruin, signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation. The main priority in the joint work is to achieve progress in the field of observing children's rights, the SACP press centre said on Tuesday. The memorandum states that both parties share the responsibility and reaffirm their commitment to promote and protect children's rights as stipulated in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
