"Nuclear power is a reliable and affordable technology. Realistically, the decarbonization goals cannot be achieved without it. It is time to recognize this fact and stop discriminating against nuclear power," Energy Minister Rossen Hristov was quoted as saying by his ministry on Tuesday. Hristov was chair at a ministerial meeting of EU countries that support the development of nuclear energy. The forum, held in Paris, was opened by French Energy Minister Agnes Pannier-Runacher and EU Commissioner Kadri Simson.
