site.bta3SI Summit Business Forum Presidential Panel: Slovenian President Pahor Speaks about 3SI Investment Fund

Sofia, July 8 (BTA) - Speaking at the Presidential Panel of the
business forum part of the annual summit of the Three Seas
Initiative (3SI) hosted by Sofia on July 8 and 9, Slovenian
President Borut Pahor said that the positive results of the 3SI
fund have the potential to drive the growth of the
infrastructure projects in the region which in turn will
contribute to the growth of entire Europe.

Pahor said he supported the proactive approach of the 3SI to
hold a business forum in parallel to the 3SI summit. The
Slovenian head of State said that the main task of the 3SI is to
 find a way to make up for the shortage of funds for the
investment projects, noting that the Initiative has an
investment fund.

Pahor noted that certain legal issues need to be considered too.
 

He said that the objectives of the 3SI summit business forum are
 to build business partnerships and to map out investment
opportunities. Pahot noted that the voice of the private sector
should be heard. ZH
