Have Been Lost without Hope -
Prime Minister Borissov
Sofia, November 21 (BTA) - All projects under the operational
programmes have been lost to the point of no return, Prime
Minister Boyko Borissov said Friday. He was visiting one of the
two new sections of Sofia's metropolitan under construction,
Alexander Malinov station, together with Transport Minister
Ivaylo Moskovski and Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova.
According to Borissov, it is very difficult to re-launch OP
Transport and he is not optimistic this will happen. "The
ministers were in Brussels, but they returned with bad news. I
hope there will be a decision the week after next and it will
become known what we can do," he said. The Prime Minister has
told Moskovski to continue payments under the operational
programme.
Borissov gave assurances that there will be money for Sofia's
metro and the new sections to the airport and to the Business
Park in Mladost 4 residential area will be unveiled in April
2015.
The expansion of the route from Mladost 1 to the Business Park
is 2.7 km long and includes three stations./SN/BR
