 Sofia, August 17 (BTA) - In January - June 2015 the current and capital  account was positive amounting to 1,039.6 million euro (2.4 per cent of  GDP), compared with a surplus of 168.2 million euro (0.4 per cent of  GDP) in January - June 2014, the Bulgarian National Bank said in a press  release Monday, which specified that the data are preliminary.  
 
 The current account recorded a surplus of 126.1 million euro in June  2015, compared with a positive balance of 316.3 million euro in June  2014. In January - June 2015 the current account was positive and  amounted to 324 million euro (0.8 per cent of GDP), compared with a  deficit of 156.6 million euro (0.4 per cent of GDP) in January - June  2014.
 
 The balance on goods recorded a deficit of 113.5 million euro in June  2015, compared with a deficit of 177.6 million euro in June 2014. In  January - June 2015 the balance on goods was negative amounting to  1,210.5 million euro (2.8 per cent of GDP), compared with a deficit of  1,809 million euro (4.3 per cent of GDP) in January - June 2014.
 
 Exports of goods amounted to 2,060.9 million euro in June 2015, growing  by 256.7 million euro (14.2 per cent) from June 2014 (1,804.2 million  euro). In January - June 2015 exports of goods totalled 10,995.9 million  euro, increasing by 1,231.3 million euro (12.6 per cent) year-on-year  (from 9,764.6 million euro).
 
 Imports of goods amounted to 2,174.4 million euro in June 2015, growing  by 192.6 million euro (9.7 per cent) from June 2014 (1,981.8 million  euro). In January - June 2015 imports of goods totalled 12,206.4 million  euro, rising by 632.9 million euro (5.5 per cent) from January - June  2014 (11,573.5 million euro). In January - June 2014 imports shrank by  0.2 per cent year-on-year.
 
 In January - June 2015 the balance on goods was negative amounting to  1,210.5 million euro(2.8 per cent of GDP), compared with a deficit of  1,809 million euro (4.3 per cent of GDP) in January - June 2014.
 
 The capital account recorded a surplus of 65.9 million euro, compared  with a positive balance of 132.8 million euro in June 2014. In January -  June 2015 the capital account recorded a surplus of 715.6 million euro  (1.7 per cent of GDP), compared with a positive balance of 324.8 million  euro (0.8 per cent of GDP) in January - June 2014.
 
 The financial account recorded a net inflow of 29.1 million euro, compared with an outflow of 153.7 million  euro in June 2014. 
 
 The BNB reserve assets dropped by 49.7 million euro, compared with an  increase of 440.2 million euro in June 2014. In January - June 2015 they  grew by 2,602.5 million euro (6.1 per cent of GDP), compared with a  decrease of 235.9 million euro (0.6 per cent of GDP) in the same period  of 2014.
