Atlantic Club of Bulgaria Sends Delegation to Fiji

Sofia, September 1 (BTA) - A delegation led by Atlantic Club of Bulgaria (ACB) President Solomon Passy was received by the Foreign Minister of Fiji, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, in the Fijian capital Suva on August 31, ACB said.

This was the first visit of Bulgarian officials to the Pacific country after the two nations established diplomatic relations in March. The delegation headed by Passy, who was foreign minister between 2001 and 2005, delivered an official letter from the Bulgarian government.

The sides discussed cooperation between Fiji and the Euro-Atlantic area and Bulgaria's role as a gateway between the Pacific region and Europe.
