Bulgarian Students Win World Titles at 2015 NAVIGA World Championship for Ship Models in M-classes

Sofia, September 2 (BTA) - Bulgarian students Alexander Zahariev
 and Simeon Todorov won the first place at the 2015 NAVIGA World
 Championship for Ship Models in M-classes which took place in
Poland in August 21-29, the Education and Science Ministry said
in a press release.

Zahariev and Simeonov, both members of the Club for Model
Shipbuilding of the National Palace of Children, won the world
title in the class Mini Eco Expert Team and the second place in
the class Eco Expert team. Zahariev won the world title in the
individual competition in the class Eco Expert, and third place
in the classes FSR E and Hydro I.

At the championship Bulgaria was represented by five juniors and
 eight seniors. The Bulgarians qualified to compete in seven
finals: six for juniors and one for seniors.

The new members of the Bulgarian juniors team: Kristian
Vesselinov, Denis Dimitrov and Alexander Nikolov, too performed
well at the competition.

More than 250 entrants from 19 countries and 985 models took
part in the NAVIGA event in Poland.
