Voter Turnout is 21.16% at 1 p.m.


Sofia, November 1 (BTA) - Average voter turnout was 21.16 per
cent at 1 p.m., Central Election Commission (CEC) Spokesman
Alexander Andreev said on Sunday, which is the voting day in the
 second round of the Bulgarian local elections. A total of
771,826 people had cast their ballots by that time.

The highest turnout rate, at 68.18 per cent, was recorded in
Banite, Sliven Region, and the lowest, at 7.7 per cent, in
Sofia.

CEC has received 29 complaints and alerts so far on voting day.
One of them seems relatively serious: it is about unlawful
canvassing by candidates agents in Obedinenie, Veliko Turnovo
Region.
