Government Adopts National Strategy for  Cybersecurity

Sofia, July 13 (BTA) - The Council of Ministers Wednesday adopted a national strategy for cybersecurity, the government's information service said.

A council for cybersecurity is to be set up with the cabinet, tasked with preparing Bulgaria's positions before international institutions and organizations for cybersecurity. The council will also monitor the tendencies and development of cyber threats, the methods to counter them, suggest and submit draft resolutions to the government's Security Council.

A national coordinator will be appointed to oversee the implementation of the cybersecurity action plan.
