site.btaFrench President Emmanuel Macron Visits Bulgaria

Sofia, August 25 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron in the Black Sea city of Varna on Thursday evening, the Bulgarian government's press service reported.

Macron is making the trip on a joint invitation by President Rumen Radev and Prime Minister Borissov.

On Friday, Borissov and Macron are expected to hold a one-to-one meeting at Euxinograd Residence near Varna. The session will be followed by a plenary meeting.
