Sofia, November 13 (BTA) - European Commission President
Jean-Claude Juncker Wednesday congratulated GERB leader Boyko
Borissov on his election as Prime Minister of Bulgaria.

"On behalf of the European Commission and in my personal name, I
would like to congratulate you on your appointment as Prime
Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria and the nomination of your
government. I wish you every success in your new term," the
congratulatory address reads.

"Taking the leadership of Bulgaria is a great responsibility and
challenge. Bulgaria
is in a crucial stage of reforms and the European Commission
looks forward to working with you and with your government in
making those reforms a reality."

"I also look forward to working with you in implementing our
common strategic agenda for the Union and focusing our action on
areas where the Union can make a real difference such as on
jobs, growth, investment and competitiveness. This is essential
for the prosperity of Bulgarians as well as of all Europeans,"
Juncker says in the letter.
