Morocco to Draw on Bulgarian  Experience in Vocational Training

Rabat/Sofia, March 3 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Social Policy Minister Ivailo Kalfin talked with Moroccan Minister of Labour and Vocational Training  Abdesslam Seddiki, Kalfin's Ministry said. Kalfin is in Morocco to attend an international labour conference, co-hosted by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

At the meeting the two discussed the finalization of the bilateral social security agreement, which will regulate the social rights of Bulgarians and Moroccans who have been working or had worked in the other country on a reciprocal basis. Kalfin invited his counterpart to visit Bulgaria in the near future and Seddiki accepted the invitation with gratitude. The document is expected to be formally signed during the upcoming visit.
 
Kalfin and Sedditi talked about the importance of training and vocational re-training as a response to the modern tendencies on the labour market and an efficient measure against unemployment. Kalfin voiced readiness to share Bulgaria's good experience in vocational training and pointed the Bulgarian-German Training and Re-Training Centre as an example for successful implementation of the policy for training and re-training of unemployed.
