President Radev Urges Institutions to Reduce Bureaucratic Burden on Small Businesses

Sofia, March 2 (BTA) - Speaking at the Golden Martenitsa Awards ceremony on March 1, President Rumen Radev urged the institutions to reduce the bureaucratic burden on small businesses, the President's press secretariat reported.

Radev said: "You can tell how civilized and advanced a society is by the way it treats everything that is small: small people, small businesses, small companies, small farms."

He vowed to support small and medium-sized producers and called on the institutions to pool their efforts in order to minimize the administrative and bureaucratic burden on such companies.

The annual Golden Martenitsa Awards recognize Bulgarian producers for the quality of their products. This was the 23rd edition of the awards organized by the Made in Bulgaria Union.
