site.btaTrakia University to Offer Outsourced Programmes in Pazardzhik from 2024/25
From the academic year 2024/25, the Trakia University of Stara Zagora will offer outsourced programmes in Pazardzhik, the Municipal Council decided on Thursday. A framework cooperation agreement between the university and the Municipality will be signed for a four-year period.
"We have held many conversations with the management of Trakia University, and after agreeing on the courses, we will talk about the necessary facilities as well", said Pazardzhik Mayor Petar Kulenski.
More than 100 high school seniors in Pazardzhik have indicated that they would enroll to study medicine, agronomy, economics and trade. Vesela Todorova, Director of the Education and Culture Directorate of the Municipality, said students have already enrolled at the local branch of the Plovdiv Medical University in the town.
During the session of the Municipal Council, it also became clear that the students will be accommodated in the building of the former Teacher's Institute which is being redesigned to be turned into dormitory.
