site.btaFourth Edition of Academia Roza to Be Held from August 8 to 17 in Shipka

Children from music schools in Bulgaria and abroad will be trained in the field of orchestral performance under the guidance of masters of classical music within the fourth edition of Academia Roza from August 8 to 17 in Shipka, the organizers from the Academia Roza Foundation said on Friday.

For 10 days young musicians selected through a competition will study classical works with the help of established music educators, with Maxim Eshkenazy once again to be the creative director and conductor of the Academy and world-famous violinist Mario Hossen to be the soloist in 2024.

The academy programme will end with three concerts, in which the participants will demonstrate their skills, on August 15 in Shipka, on August 16 in Kazanlak, and on August 17 in Plovdiv. The concerts will be free.

The fourth edition of Academia Roza is financed by the National Culture Fund.
