site.btaInternational Folklore Festival Opens in Kyustendil

The 20th edition of the Srebarna Pafta International Folklore Festival is taking place in Kyustendil July 25 to July 28, said the organizers on Thursday.

The festival will be opened with a traditional parade of the participants in the city centre. Folklore ensembles, dance and singing groups from Bulgaria, Serbia, Bolivia, Moldova and Kazakhstan will participate in the festival, which has been preserving and spreading the folklore traditions of the world for 20 years.

The festival is organized by the Pautalia - 2008 community centre and Kyustendil Municipality.
