BTA correspondents in Blagoevgrad Desislava Velkova and Krasimir Nikolov were awarded by the Regional History Museum in Blagoevgrad on the European Night of Museums Saturday. They received diplomas for promoting the museum's cultural and historical heritage and activities.
The diplomas were conferred by the director of the cultural institution, Dr Kiril Alexiev.
Before the awards were presented to the BTA correspondents in Blagoevgrad, the host of the event - the curator of the Public Relations Department, Dimitrina Kakaradova, said that in recent years the museum has won for its patriotic cause two young collaborators and friends, often going beyond the ordinary reporting.
This year, the museum in Blagoevgrad also honoured journalist Valentin Dishev from the Bulgarian National Radio. "There are very few museums in the country that have their own radio and news agency with favorite journalists who are always interested and concerned about everything that happens publicly or behind the scenes, and are always ready to announce our problems and present our successes," said the museum management during the award ceremony.
