site.btaConstruction Works in Northern Bulgarian Black Sea Resorts Banned from May 15 to October 1
Construction works near Varna on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea coast are banned as of May 15 by an order of Mayor Blagomir Kotsev. The order is published on the website of the City Hall. The ban will be on until October 1.
It applies for the resorts of Golden Sands, Sts. Konstantine and Elena, Chaika, Priboy and Manastirski Rid.
The Mayor also bans heavy construction equipment and all vehicles supplying construction materials in the resorts.
Exception will be made only for repair works.
The ban shall not apply to construction works for projects of regional significance funded by the EU, the state or municipal budget.
Violations of the order will carry a fine of BGN 1,000 to 10,000 for individuals and BGN 10,000 to 50,000 for sole traders and legal entities, if not subject to a heavier penalty.
